The long-awaited Biology masterpost is finally here!! I am so excited to share this post with you as a few of you guys have been asking for it, and because Biology is my absolute favorite subject. Here goes nothing!!
STUDYING BIOLOGY AND TAKING NOTES
MY ADVICE
In class: Pay attention to your professor/teacher, ask lots and lots of questions, and take avid notes! It’s one thing to listen, and a totally different thing to remember. Your notes will help you retain all of the information you are taking in! If you can, stay after school whenever you need help with a certain topic. My bio teacher holds after-school tutorials that help so much, and I would totally recommend using this resource if it’s available to you.
At home: Rewrite your notes; watch tutorials, videos, and models online to get a better understanding of the lesson you are learning; and try teaching the concept you are learning to a family member.

MY FAVORITE RESOURCES
Mcgraw Hill: Great animations and mini quizzes
Khan Academy: LIFE SAVERRRRRRR!!! Goes into so much depth on topics, but very easy to understand.
Crash Course: Not only funny, but also dumbed down for easy understanding
Quizlet: Quiz yourself on whole topics while on the go!!
Sciencemusicvideos YouTube Channel: Super cheesy, but such a great resource. The songs are very catchy and not too hard to learn!
Well, I guess that’s about it!! If you guys want another masterpost, let me know!! (Also let me know if I missed a topic, and I will make sure I add it ASAP)
